Job Summary

Primarily responsible for managing the financial accounting function concerning the accuracy and maintenance of the ledger accounts and resultant financial statements.

Key Responsibilities

in budget preparation.
with audit and year end closing.
and files sales and use tax returns.
and records monthly closing journal entries.
monthly group financial statements.
operational reconciliation statement.
weekly and monthly labor and equipment reports for operations.
transactions for fixed assets (journal entries and book/tax depreciations).
asset and liability ledger accounts.

Minimum Job Requirements

1.2yearsconstructionaccountingexperience; knowledge of profit recognition for contractors.
2.KnowledgeofGenerally AcceptedAccountingPrinciples.
3.Strong analytical skills with respect to financial data.
4.BachelorsDegreeinAccounting.

5. CPA designation or CPA eligible designation is a plus.

6. Proficient useofallMicrosoftOfficeSuiteprograms.
