Accountant I Kapco Grafton WI
We are looking for a talented individual to join our team in Grafton Wisconsin as Accountant I. This position will perform a variety of accounting functions including but not limited to day-to-day accounting activities recording of journal entries account reconciliations financial analysis and ensure data for month end reporting is accurate.
Primary Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
- Responsible for various aspects (journal entries account reconciliations) of the monthly financial close process.
- Perform a variety of Accounts Payable functions.
- Resolves disputes regarding accounts payable.
- Accurately and promptly invoice customers and process customer credit / debit memos.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly financial reporting information.
- Prepare materials as required for internal and external auditors.
- Work with other team members to improve overall reporting systems.

Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related discipline required.
- At least two years of corporate accounting work in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of accounts payable accounts receivable and other accounting related activities including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Knowledge of financial accounting software proficient with Microsoft Excel.
