Required Qualifications
- 2 4 years of accounting or auditing experience
- 6 years of knowledge and application of GAAP
- 6 years of knowledge and application of GAAS
- 2 years of PeopleSoft experience
- Strong experience with account reconciliations journal entries and financial data analysis
- Ability to work independently and resolve complex accounting issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Euna Financial & Grants software
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2 years of auditing experience
- Government or State accounting experience
- Knowledge of federal/state budgeting grant requirements and fiscal policies
- Reconcile and close legacy projects
- Audit historical project activities and correct discrepancies
- Process journal entries and revenue transactions in PeopleSoft
- Review grant awards and financial requirements
- Coordinate with finance teams to complete project closeouts
- Perform comprehensive financial reviews and ensure GAAP/GAAS compliance
