About the Role:
Midas - Legacy Golden Touch in Richmond TX is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our team! Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records ledgers and bookkeeping entries
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and monthly financial reports
- Prepare and manage payroll processing for staff
- Monitor cash flow and assist with budget tracking
- Generate financial statements and reports for management review
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax preparation
Requirements:
- Proven experience in accounting bookkeeping or a related financial role
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of general ledger AR/AP and bank reconciliation
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple financial tasks
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field preferred
- Experience in the automotive or service industry is a plus
