Job Summary

DPP is seeking an Account Manager for an opportunity with our client in Winston Salem NC.

Position Summary:
  • The Account Manager plays a pivotal role in our sales department responsible for nurturing and expanding relationships with our valued clients.
  • This role involves managing a portfolio of accounts understanding client needs and proactively promoting our products and services.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and client relations skills a deep understanding of our offerings and a commitment to delivering exceptional client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
  • Develop and maintain strong long-term relationships with assigned clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries requests and escalations.
  • Regularly engage with clients to assess their needs provide support and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Ensure clients receive a high level of service and support to enhance their overall experience.
Inside Sales:
  • Identify potential sales opportunities during customer interactions.
  • Promote and upsell products and services to existing clients.
  • Generate and maintain leads through outbound calls and emails.
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to understand client needs and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Follow-up on quotations and client interactions to ensure customer satisfaction and improve close rate.
Client Communication:
  • Maintain open and transparent communication with clients to keep them informed of product updates promotions and relevant information.
  • Address client questions concerns and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure clients are aware of the value they receive from our products and services.
Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions sales activities and account information.
  • Prepare regular reports on account performance and sales progress.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to share insights and strategies for account management.
Market Knowledge:
  • Stay informed about industry trends competitors and market developments.
  • Utilize market knowledge to provide clients with insights and recommendations for their business.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in a related field; relevant professional certifications are a plus.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in sales or business development with a proven track record of success.
  • Project management experience.
  • Production and/or manufacturing experience.
  • Must have experience in the tobacco industry.
  • Proficiency in using CRM and other relevant software tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a professional and positive demeanor.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • A strong dedication to understanding and exceeding client expectations.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information persuasively and professionally.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address client needs and resolve issues effectively.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities to manage multiple client accounts.
  • A deep understanding of the companys products and services to offer expert guidance and recommendations to clients.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and contribute positively to team dynamics.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment adjusting to changing priorities and tasks.
