Job Summary
Accessories of Des Moines is seeking one Accessory Installation Technician. Qualified candidates must have their own tools a good driving record be able to pass a background check and be able to install automotive/light truck accessories on all makes efficiently while maintaining the highest quality and care for the vehicle.
Compensation:
- Hourly rate of $20 per hour depending on experience expertise and training.

Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
- Installations include:
- Tonneau covers
- Running boards
- Splash guards
- Tool boxes and ladder racks
- Bug deflectors
- Hitches and wiring (Gooseneck 5th wheel and standard receiver hitches)
- Other basic bolt on accessories
- Chassis work. Level/Lift kits
- Mounting and balancing tires
- Installation of interior and exterior electrical accessories. Lighting remote start systems heated seats etc.
- Fuel transfer tanks
Qualifications
- 2 years of Service Technician experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Dexterity requiring a steady hand excellent hand-eye coordination
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Positive friendly attitude along with an eagerness to improve
- Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
- Ability to learn new technology repair and service procedures and specifications
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
