You will perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly that ensures components meet quality and safety standards. You will impact production outcomes by executing precise assembly tasks and supporting the manufacturing team onsite (first shift MTh 5:00am3:30pm). You will work with production supervisors and quality personnel to maintain throughput and reliability.

• Perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly of small parts or components following defined instructions and procedures
• Review shop traveler/route cards or simple schematics to confirm correct sequence of operations
• Position very small parts under a binocular microscope using tweezers or fixtures and solder fine wires to resistors and base parts
• Bond or seal parts with epoxies and use direct heating elements or ovens as required
• Conduct in-process testing and demonstrate adherence to safety policies and procedures
• Maintain regular consistent and punctual attendance; work nights/weekends or additional hours as necessary

• Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
• Vocational training apprenticeship or equivalent experience in a related field
• 6 months to 2 years of relevant experience
• Effective oral written and interpersonal communication skills
• Good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity for working with small parts
• Ability to operate a variety of hand tools and light machinery
• Capable of performing basic mathematics and reading/interpreting safety rules and manufacturing instructions
• Ability to identify issues and address them; willingness and capacity to learn new tasks

• Adaptability and demonstrated willingness to learn new processes or skills

$16.00 - $20.00/hour
