Our team is currently seeking a Production Lead to work in our Processing Department. We focus on safety and quality orientated people who can demonstrate adaptability and willingness in a team orientated- fast paced work environment.

Work Schedule:

10pm - 6am Sunday night to Thursday (3rd shift variable based on assigned work)

Overtime is possible. Overtime will be either 4 hours before or after the regular shift.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• History of safe work practices.
• Prior experience in a production food manufacturing environment is required.
• Ability to safely lift and carry 50 lbs on a consistent basis.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to call out defects and implement to Quality standards.
• Achieve qualified score on job skills assessment- to be coordinated after receiving a passing interview score

Job Overview:

The Processing Lead has responsibility for effective operation of food processing equipment and manages the Processing department in a manner necessary to meet or exceed quality safety productivity and cost standards.

Responsibilities & Duties-

May include- but isnt limited to:

• Follows all food safety requirements in collaboration with Quality Assurance Sanitation and other plant resources.
• Leads and/or assists others in conducting investigations to determine the cause of defects.
• Monitors and is responsible for quality output and takes appropriate actions to ensure production is right the first time.
• Validates and ensures formulations are accurate and in conformance with process flow.
• Other duties as assigned

Leadership Functions:

1. Understand and Administer Company Policy and Procedures fairly and consistently.

2. Be a role model by following all company policies and procedures.

3. Assist in Employee Development Activities (employee recognition employee coaching employee motivation training interviewing and hiring).

4. Effectively communicate verbally and in written format.
