Stipend: $1189

*Stipends will be prorated on coaches availability to fulfill all coaching commitments

DESCRIPTION: Coach students in math problem-solving; develop math activities and lesson plans in problem solving; coordinate and attend math competitions. Plan implement and evaluate instruction consistent with building and district curriculum and supervise field trips. Other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to work as a team player and understand the needs of middle school aged students. Attendance and punctuality are important functions of this position. May require prolonged sitting or standing. Must be covid vaccinated.

SCHEDULE: OPEN UNTIL FILLED.

BENEFITS: This position does not qualify for health insurance or paid leave benefits.

Reform and Control Act Requirement: The recommended applicant if not a current regular employee will be required to complete an INS I-9 form and must provide proof of employment eligibility prior to working.

Disclosure Statement and Record Check: Pursuant to Chapter 486 Washington Laws of 1987 the recommended applicant if not a current regular employee will be required to complete a disclosure form indicating whether he or she has been convicted of crimes against persons listed in the addition a background check based on fingerprints will be requested from the Washington State Patrol & FBI. Employment is conditional based upon completion of the record check.
