EHS Guards:

$21 per hour

Mon Tues Weds Fri Sat 7AM-3PM

Summary

This position will provide overall support for the Environmental Health & Safety department by performing building safety audits.

Inspecting premises and work activities

Investigate accidents

Maintain accurate and detailed log

Verifying Pre-Task-Plans accuracy with work conducted onsite

Conduct weekly Observation Tours with each contractor

Preparing reports on occurrence and tracking corrective actions to closure

Identify and address hazards tracking corrective actions to closure

Promoting a culture of health and safety in the workplace

Establishing cordial and professional relationship with employees contractors and visitors

Maintaining compliance with all safety regulations

Conducting daily hand off meetings with all shifts

Reviewing existing policies procedures and measures

Utilizing LG incident escalation protocol

Replenish safety equipment as needed

Conduct safety equipment inspections

Perform other duties as assigned

High School Diploma or GED required

OSHA 30-hour certifications preferred (mandatory after 30 days)

12 years experience a plus

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Professional/Positive attitude

Highly motivated self-starter

Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently

Organization Skills
