What youll do as a MISO Intern:

• Take on meaningful highâimpact projects in Internal Auditperforming control testing evaluating business processes documenting audit evidence and contributing to risk mitigation and compliance (including Entity Level and SarbanesâOxley audit exposure).
• Work sideâbyâside with your manager and mentor and connect with a crossâdepartmental buddy to expand your network and understand how different teams support MISOs mission.
• Learn from industry experts during interactive lunch & learn sessions.
• Attend community service events intern socials networking activities and development programming to help you grow your confidence build relationships and understand MISOs broader mission.
• Wrap up the summer with a final presentation summarizing your project work recommendations and areas of impact.

We are looking for students who

• Are pursuing degrees in Accounting/Finance Business/Business Administration or Data Analytics/Data Science (Undergraduate or Graduate).
• Have strong critical thinking and problemâsolving skills.
• Are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint).
• Are eager to learn from an experienced audit team and gain exposure to Entity Level and SarbanesâOxley audits.
• Demonstrate MISO Core Values: Integrity Commitment Collaboration Creativity Adaptabilityand teamâspecific values of curiosity accountability missionâdriven purpose and respect and collaboration.

To be eligible for the program you must be available to start Wednesday June 2^nd 2027 and continue through Friday August 13^th 2027. No VISA sponsorship opportunities including OPT/CPT.
