Responsibilities:

• Build plans production tooling and manufacturing processes for components and assemblies.

• Redesign tooling to improve operators work environments.

• Analyze layouts and production processes to improve facility layouts for product flow.

• Creating reference documents and standardized work for new or improved processes.

• Analyze quality concerns make recommendations for improvement and implement ideas.

• Exploring new equipment and software that can reduce scrap and downtime and recommend changes to production flow to implement recommendations.

• Monitor communicate and improve key supply chain KPIs including PPM line disruptions and days to close non-conforming material tickets (NCMT).

• Develop and initiate standards and methods for inspection testing and evaluation.

• Evaluate production processes to increase productivity and investigate methods to enhance the product.

• Coordinate material and tooling availability with appropriate stakeholders.

• Education: Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering Industrial engineering manufacturing engineering or related field required

• Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office applications CAD
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude and drive to complete tasks and assignments
