Our paid summer internship program offers a unique chance to get hands-on experience applying analytical chemistry to improving pet health. You wont be just an extra set of hands; youll be a key part of our team working on a substantial project with one-on-one mentorship from one of our experts.

This internship is designed to give you both practical lab skills and professional growth. Youll gain direct exposure to senior leaders and our program provides opportunities to network with other students who share your career interests. As an Analytical Lab Intern you will focus on projects within an analytical team to leverage and implement automated processes and help improve the efficiency of current methods. This role is perfect for a student eager to apply their academic knowledge to real-world challenges in a fast-paced innovative lab environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program calibrate maintain and operate robotic instruments for the preparation of chemical solutions ensuring accurate and reproducible results.

• Process analyze optimize and interpret gas chromatographic data for method validation

• Collaborate with team members to support method development validation and continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications:

• Junior or Senior students seeking a Bachelors degree in Chemistry Forensic Chemistry Biochemistry Chemical Engineering or a related field.

• Hands-on experience with computer programming GC/MS instrumentation is preferred.

• Familiarity with calibration techniques quantification methods and lab data systems.

• Excellent organizational problem-solving and communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $25.00 - $40.00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience qualifications and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses profit-sharing and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including medical dental vision basic life insurance paid parental leave disability coverage and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employees hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
