2026-27 Home Game Supervisor - Winter Sports
Season: Estimated 15 home games from 11/12/2026 to 2/7/2027
Schedule: Open until filled
Compensation:$1275.00 Stipend (Stipend amount will be prorated based on ability to fulfill season commitment.)
Benefits: This position does not qualify for health insurance or paid leave benefits.
Union Affiliation: This position is not represented.
WINTER GAME SUPERVISOR
Responsibilities: Must be present to provide preparation and supervision of all home basketball games arriving 1-1.5 hours prior to start of first game and closing facility at finish of all games.
Duties: The home game supervisor will:
Assist the athletic director in preparing gyms for games: bleacher set-up scoreboard/clock set-up microphone for announcing. Return equipment to storage at end of games. Lock exterior doors not used for entrance to games and restrict access to school hallways. Help to make sure that scoreboards/clocks are staffed. Provide supervision of both gyms during JV and Varsity games which includes dealing with any disciplinary issues that may arise. Maintain security of locker rooms providing access to visiting teams. Greet referees and provide them with access to offices for uniform changing purposes. Help with pre-game announcements. Secure the building after games.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to bend stoop push and carry items.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
Stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.

Disclosure Statement and Record Check: Pursuant to Chapter 486 Washington Laws of 1987 the recommended applicant if not a current regular employee will be required to complete a disclosure form indicating whether he or she has been convicted of crimes against persons listed in the addition a background check based on fingerprints will be requested from the Washington State Patrol & FBI. Employment is conditional based upon completion of the record check.
