Job Summary

SINOMAX is seeking a Janitor for our 1st shift!

Position Summary

Maintaining the cleanliness of the plant including the offices bathrooms and manufacturing areas.

Position Description

Clean designated areas of plant as required i.e. (restrooms cafeterias main isles offices smoking areas etc.) with approved disinfectants and cleaning supplies.
Sweep mop and vacuum on daily basis
Empty and remove trash and restock supplies.
Use a variety of mops brooms cleaning supplies solutions carts ladders power vacuum and cleaning equipment.
Responsible to observe departments safety regulations and to use personnel protective equipment as required.
Responsible to adhere to plant policies/procedures Good Manufacturing Practices GMPS ISO 9002 regulations and good housekeeping procedures.
Complete tasks on time and thoroughly and respond to emergency janitorial needs.
Other reasonable duties as assigned.

Approval

The Executive Team (CEO Controller Chief Marketing and Merchandising Officer VP of Operations Human Resources) will be involved in all hires. Team determines need Human Resources will facilitate the process and select candidates Controller will verify budget for the position. The positions direct manager will also be part of the interviewing and decision making process as well as a possible peer.

Position Requirements

Self-driven and able to work without direct supervision
Ability to take on tasks independently to keep facility in proper condition
Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks
Working knowledge of custodial equipment and cleaning products

Work Environment: Must stand and walk for a minimum of 8 hours per day or longer in overtime situations. Work is performed in a sometimes hot cold humid noisy industrial environment and around dust oil grease chemicals and other substances.

Position Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm
