1st Shift Barrel Cell Manager

Milacron is looking for a Machine Operations Manager to join our team in Batavia this position you will be responsible for leading hourly employees in a fast-paced lean manufacturing environment ensuring the effective use of people and resources to achieve departmental financial and operational Youll Do:Lead coach and develop hourly employees while promoting effective employee relations and daily production activities including work scheduling quality staffing timekeeping absenteeism and coordination with other supervisors and managers to meet production Lean manufacturing principles to sustainably maximize customer value and drive continuous improvements across quality safety delivery cost and employee and implement manufacturing methods and quality standards and perform cost analysis to improve staff and facility employee training and technical development including performance reviews frequent feedback and the establishment of goals and and implement improvement opportunities using relevant data systematic problem-solving and effective issues involving materials operations quality or other factors that could result in production with engineering teams on part design process development and manufacturing process departmental performance measures and visual controls provide progress updates to management and balance quality productivity cost safety and employee :High school diploma or equivalent with 45 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and leadership skills and business and financial to resolve conflicts and provide effective computer and presentation and practical experience with Lean manufacturing principles and with constraint management ISO systematic problem-solving and degree in business engineering or a related field environment experience Manufacturing background within a plant and operational management experience in a production or manufacturing setting preferred.
