Houma LA Full-Time Day Shift Shipyard Environment
Seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to support electrical maintenance and repairs in a shipyard environment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting repairing and maintaining electrical systems equipment and machinery while following all safety standards.
- 3 years of maintenance electrician experience
- Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems and equipment
- Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints
- Knowledge of electrical safety practices and lockout/tagout procedures
- Proficient with electrical testing equipment and hand tools
- Dependable with reliable transportation
- Shipyard marine or industrial maintenance experience
- Experience with PLCs motor controls and VFDs
- Electrical certification or vocational training
- Preventive maintenance experience
- How many years of maintenance electrician experience do you have
- Have you worked as a maintenance electrician in a shipyard marine or industrial environment
- Can you read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Do you have experience troubleshooting motors control panels or PLC systems
