Location: Lockport LA
Schedule: Full-Time Day Shift
Summary
Seeking an experienced 1st Class Electrician for shipyard work in Lockport LA. Candidates must have marine electrical experience strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Must-Haves
- 3 years of shipyard or marine electrical experience
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
- Experience troubleshooting AC/DC systems
- Knowledge of shipyard safety standards
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work full-time day shift
Preferred
- Experience on barges tugboats or offshore vessels
- NCCER or OSHA certifications
- Experience with motor controls and switchgear
- Ability to work overtime as needed
