Assists and supports the Quality Engineers by providing production expertise to resolve Quality issues within the production operation.
Performs tasks such as but not limited to the following:
- Assists and supports in-process and product first layer assessment.
- Performs the activities identified related to the Key process and product characteristics.
- Supports the identification and processing of internal non-conforming materials for proper disposition.
- Ensures that the implemented changes and corrective action to rectify non-conformance issues are respected in the manufacturing line.
- Assists and supports Support First Article Assessment activities.
- Supports internal industry and customer audits as required.
- Supports continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality
- Processes.
- Supports the RMA quality related activities.
- Ability to exercise good judgment in providing quality guidance.
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal customers.
- Understanding of quality and manufacturing standards.
- Basic knowledge of computer applications and the ability to perform tasks using Microsoft Word Excel.
- Knowledge of shop floor control and quality management documentation systems such as Spectrum Pro EtQ.
- Skills for evaluating diagnosing and solving problems encountered in the manufacturing.
