Senior DevOps Engineer (DefenceTech)

• Design implement and maintain scalable AWS-based infrastructure across multi-account environments
• Develop and support Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform modules and reusable configurations
• Configure and standardize backup and disaster recovery processes for cloud services and SaaS platforms
• Implement secure backup strategies including cross-account replication encryption Object Lock (WORM) and isolated backup environments
• Perform restore testing for databases and critical systems and validate real RTO/RPO indicators
• Create and maintain operational documentation runbooks and technical procedures in English
• Automate infrastructure and operational processes using Bash and/or Python
• Manage and support Kubernetes clusters and Helm deployments
• Monitor backup jobs and infrastructure reliability and configure alerting mechanisms
• Collaborate with internal DevOps teams through merge request workflows and infrastructure reviews
• Assess and improve cloud infrastructure resilience and security posture

Qualifications :

• At least 5 years of commercial experience in DevOps Cloud Infrastructure or Site Reliability Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including Organizations IAM S3 RDS AWS Backup KMS and EKS
• Deep understanding of AWS multi-account architecture and cloud security best practices
• Production-level experience with Terraform including modules remote state management and multi-environment deployments
• Strong practical experience with Kubernetes and Helm
• Solid Linux administration skills
• Experience with automation and scripting using Bash and/or Python
• Proven experience implementing backup and disaster recovery strategies in production environments
• Hands-on experience performing production data restoration and validating RTO/RPO metrics
• Experience writing technical documentation and operational runbooks in English
• Understanding of cloud security principles and infrastructure resilience practices
• At least an Intermediate level of English

• Experience with GitLab APIs export and repository mirroring
• Experience with SaaS backup solutions
• Experience backing up Microsoft 365 environments
• Familiarity with security-focused or high-availability infrastructure environments
• Experience working in DefenceTech or other mission-critical domains
