Job Summary
Strategic responsibilities
- Ensure high-quality compliant and evidence-based reporting.
- Strengthen institutional reporting systems and capacity.
- Promote strategic use coordination and alignment of reporting.
Some Operational responsibilities
- Provide direct technical support to donor and partner reporting processes
- Review reports to ensure clarity consistency and accuracyand adherence to donor and internal URCS standards
- Ensure reports are based on verified data
- Support a stronger results focus
- Support the analysis and use of reporting findings to inform strategic decision-making
- Develop maintain and roll out reporting guidelines
Some mission specific deliverables
- Standardized URCS reporting guidelines
- Implement a structured capacity-building plan
- A structured approach to capture and integrate lessons learned and success stories
- Main reporting systemsare mapped and strengthened where needed
- A handover and exit plan is developed and implemented

Collaboration
- QCA Department management the PMER Unit and the Reporting Sector
- Programme project and sectoral departments within URCS
- Movement Partner National Societies and IFRC
- Functional and operational supervisors to ensure work priorities
- University degree in communications linguistics international relations project management humanitarian studies or a related field.
- 7 year of relevant professional experience in donor reporting proofreading editing project management or humanitarian/development reporting.
Personal experience
- Strong understanding of donor reporting requirements
- Demonstrated experience in high-quality English report writing
- Experience developing reporting standards and guidelines
- Experience designing and delivering structured training
- Analyses and judgement quickly understands and analyses complex issues and problems; comes up with sound and rational judgements
- Constructive teamwork collaborate well with others; shares knowledge experience and information and supports others in the pursuit of team goals
- Effective communication communicate in a clear precise and structured way; speaks with authority and conviction; presents effectively
- Initiative and Responsibility - is a self-starter makes things happen and is result oriented
- Organzational awareness understands the organizations informal rules and structure and utilizes internal processes effectively to get things done
- Systematic approach uses a methodical and systematic approach; plans ahead define clear priorities and allocate resources effectively
Other skills:
- Excellent command of English both written and spoken. Knowledge of Ukrainian is considered an asset
Reporting to:
- Operationally to URCS Head of the QCA Department
- Functionally to NoRC Head of Programs Ukraine
Position is based in:
Ukraine Kyiv
Contract length:
12 months contract
