0702 Sr Mobile Tester

Consultants work across on-site remote and hybrid engagements giving employees exposure to a broad range of technologies clients and industries throughout their careers.
The customer is a large automotive company. They are looking for a strong mobile tester who has good communication skills and is open to working US hours. Typical working hours will be either 8 am-4 pm or 9 am-5 pm EST.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement manual testing strategies for mobile applications.
- Develop and execute test cases for iOS and Android platforms.
- Identify document and track bugs and performance issues.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure seamless integration of testing processes.
- Transition from manual testing to automation selecting appropriate tools and frameworks.
- Establish and maintain mobile testing environments.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior testers.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in mobile testing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience (5 years) in mobile testing (iOS & Android).
- Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools (Appium XCTest Espresso etc.).
- Ability to set up testing frameworks from scratch.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and mobile development environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills (upper-intermediate English skills or above).
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
