The primary objective of the Subsea Maintenance Technicianrole is to ensure that Expros subsea equipment is maintained tested certified and operationally ready to safely support client operations both onshore and offshore.
The role is responsible for ensuring Expros subsea assets remain safe compliant reliable and ready for deployment by delivering high-quality maintenance testing troubleshooting and repair activities while supporting operational excellence and maintaining the highest standards of safety and service delivery.
- Maintain equipment integrity and reliability through preventative corrective and predictive maintenance activities on subsea systems and associated control equipment
- Ensure safety and compliance by conducting inspections testing repairs and certification activities in accordance with Expro procedures OEM requirements and regulatory standards
- Support operational readiness by preparing assembling testing and mobilising equipment for workshop and offshore operations
- Deliver accurate documentation and asset traceability through the completion of maintenance records test certificates job packs and service reports
- Promote a strong safety culture by actively participating in risk assessments toolbox talks safety meetings and the reporting of hazards and non-conformances
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders including Operations Engineering Stores Quality and Offshore Personnel to ensure equipment and resources are available to meet operational demands
- Maintain high workshop standards by ensuring equipment tools and work areas remain organised serviceable and fit for purpose
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment reliability workshop efficiency service quality and overall safety performance
- Previous experience in a workshop mechanical manufacturing or maintenance environment is essential
- Strong commitment to health safety and quality standards
- Ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate records
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Forklift certification would be advantageous
- Flexible proactive and committed to delivering high-quality work
