Job Summary

Were looking for a Workshop Engineer to join our Materials Testing team preparing precision metal test samples used in a variety of engineering and industrial projects.

This is a hands-on role where youll work with machinery tooling and materials to support critical testing activities. Full training can be provided for the right person.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Operating workshop and machining equipment safely and effectively.
  • Preparing precision metal samples for testing.
  • Maintaining quality and traceability throughout the production process.
  • Supporting laboratory and engineering teams with technical requirements.
  • Ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed timescales.
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping quality and safety.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and efficient workshop operations.

Were looking for practical reliable individuals who enjoy working with their hands take pride in producing high-quality work and have a strong attention to detail.

This role could suit candidates from a wide range of backgrounds including: Engineering or manufacturing Production or assembly CNC or machining environments Automotive or vehicle maintenance Mechanical fitting or fabrication Welding and metalwork or Construction trades.

No direct experience is required for this role full training will be provided.
