Salary: 35000 Basic Performance Bonus

Are you an experienced Workshop Controller looking for your next challenge We are recruiting on behalf of a successful multi-franchise dealership seeking a highly organised and motivated individual to oversee the day-to-day operation of a busy workshop.

Working alongside the Service Manager youll be responsible for maximising workshop efficiency ensuring exceptional customer service and leading a team of skilled technicians in a fast-paced environment. Workshop Controllers typically manage technician workload monitor productivity maintain quality standards and coordinate closely with service and parts departments to keep the workshop operating efficiently.

The Role

• Plan and allocate work efficiently to maximise technician productivity.
• Monitor workshop loading and ensure deadlines are achieved.
• Support and motivate a team of Technicians and Apprentices.
• Liaise with the Service and Parts departments to maintain a smooth workflow.
• Ensure all repairs are completed to manufacturer and company standards.
• Oversee quality control and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Monitor workshop performance efficiency and profitability.
• Ensure Health & Safety and manufacturer compliance is maintained at all times.

About You

• Previous experience as a Workshop Controller within a franchised dealership.
• Experience working in a multi-franchise environment would be advantageous.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive under pressure in a busy workshop.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
