Working Pattern: Hybrid 12 days per week at your closest home office with regular travel to operational sites across primarily the Midlands and Southern UK.

About The Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Process & Compliance Manager to join a large-scale multi-site logistics operation in a newly created position. This is a key role within the Solutions & Optimisation function responsible for driving warehouse process standardisation operational compliance and continuous improvement across a national network.

The successful candidate will take ownership of developing a consistent approach to warehouse operations including the creation and implementation of standard operating procedures compliance frameworks and continuous improvement initiatives.

Reporting to the Head of Warehouse Design & Compliance you will work closely with operational teams and senior stakeholders across the network to identify opportunities for improvement challenge existing ways of working and implement practical scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop implement and maintain warehouse Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across the network.
• Own the SOP governance process including version control approvals audits and document lifecycle management.
• Develop and implement centralised SOP and training record systems.
• Manage and continuously improve the Integrated Management System (IMS) in line with relevant standards and business requirements.
• Develop processes and standards around MHE telematics across warehouse operations.
• Plan and support internal and external audits relating to SOPs MHE and IMS.
• Lead continuous improvement workshops and root cause analysis with operational teams.
• Conduct time and motion studies to identify opportunities to improve efficiency productivity and ways of working.
• Work with operational teams to implement standardised processes and ensure improvements are effectively embedded.
• Support wider warehouse design optimisation and continuous improvement projects as required.

Key Requirements

• SOP development and implementation within a warehouse environment.
• An experienced Operational Excellence Business Process Excellence or Continuous Improvement professional with a strong background in warehouse operations and compliance.
• Experience within a 3PL FMCG food logistics distribution or large-scale warehousing environment with exposure to working across multiple sites or a wider operational network.
• Process governance document control and workflow mapping.
• Warehouse compliance and MHE programmes.
• Managing the companies Integrated Management System (IMS) and working with ISO standards.
• Continuous improvement within warehouse or distribution operations.
• Time study / time and motion methodologies.
• Root cause analysis and structured problem-solving.
• Lean Six Sigma Kaizen or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
• Influencing operational teams and engaging stakeholders at all levels.

Youll need to be comfortable challenging existing processes and ways of working while being able to translate improvement opportunities into practical measurable and sustainable operational solutions.
