FLT Driver/Yard Assistant Full Time St Leonards-on-SeaTHE ROLE: Join us as our FLT Driver/Yard Assistant within our Palletforce Logistics Sussex this role you will be responsible for ensuring that loads are prepared and dispatched on time in compliance with health and safety requirements. You will also carry out general day-to-day warehouse duties supporting smooth and efficient operations. THE SALARY Competitive LOCATION St Leonards-on-Sea KEY RESPONSIBILITES: Ensuring vehicles are loaded correctly and able to meet the customer requirements of delivery on and unloading trunk vehicles for our networkLoading vehicles for general loadsEnsuring customers pallets are handled correctlyEnsuring warehouse is kept clean and tidy in line with H&SOUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE: Valid FLT licence/certificationProven experience operating a forklift safelyGood understanding of health & safety regulationsBasic numeracy and literacy (for stock handling & paperwork)Ability to follow instructions and proceduresAttention to detail and accuracyGood communication skillsPhysical fitness for manual handling tasksThis really is a fantastic opportunity to join the team who consistently strive to provide an excellent service and build a strong positive reputation within the business.
