Vehicle Technician Hockmeyer Motors (part of A.F Blakemore & Son Ltd)

39 Hours per week

Shifts:

Mon Thursday 8am 5pm

Friday 8am 4pm

We have an exciting opportunity for a Vehicle Technician. As a Vehicle Technician you will play a vital role in supporting our Workshop Manager in creating a positive customer experience through providing efficient general maintenance on cars and light commercial vehicles including services and repairs.

Key Tasks/Responsibilities:

• Vehicle fault finding
• Services & repairs
• Cambelt/cam changes
• Clutch fitting

Key Skills/Knowledge:

• Diagnostic experience
• Driving licence required
• MOT tester desired but not essential
• Welding desired but not essential
• Behave within the principles of the companys values at all times
• Maintain employee and organisational confidentiality in line with the Data Protection Act
• Demonstrate commitment to equality and diversity

• Previous experience in a similar role and/or industry is required

• Reliably follows instructions and procedures with excellent attention to detail
