At TradeChoice Carpet & Flooring we are looking for two experienced Van Drivers to join our busy warehouse and distribution team delivering stock safely and efficiently to our customers.

This role offers an exciting career development opportunity. Successful candidates will receive training and support to gain their Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence. Upon successful completion of the training programme and transition into a Class 2 Driver role you will receive a salary increase.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload vehicles safely and correctly following company procedures.
• Carry out multi-drop deliveries in a safe efficient and timely manner.
• Conduct quality checks on deliveries and obtain customer signatures as proof of receipt.
• Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the vehicle reporting any defects promptly.
• Report any accidents incidents or vehicle damage immediately in line with company procedures.
• Drive in accordance with the Highway Code road traffic legislation and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent TradeChoice professionally at all times.

Key Skills and Experience

• Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Previous van driving and multi-drop delivery experience desirable.
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations and best driving practices.
• Strong planning organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling activities including loading and unloading stock.
• Positive attitude and willingness to undertake training to become a Class 2 HGV Driver.
