Here at Trade Choice Carpet and Flooring we are looking for an experienced Van Driver to support our busy warehouse helping to transport stock to our customers. You will be responsible for performing deliveries safely efficiently and on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the loading and unloading of the vehicle to ensure it is conducted correctly and safely.
• Carry out multi-drop deliveries in a safe and timely manner
• Conduct quality checks upon delivery and obtain customer signatures as proof of receipt.
• Keep the vehicle clean well-maintained and free from preventable damage.
• Report any accidents or incidents immediately following company procedures
• Drive within legal compliance the UK Highway Code and driving time limits.

Key skills

• Valid commercial driving licence (C) with a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods.
• Strong planning and organisation
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
