ROLE PURPOSE
Key duties & responsibilities:
Client Delivery & Project Management
Client Delivery & Project Management
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of transfer pricing projects including scoping planning execution and billing
- Design implement and review transfer pricing policies for international clients
- Lead functional analysis interviews and oversee the preparation of transfer pricing documentation (e.g. Local Files Master Files) in accordance with UK legislation and OECD guidelines
- Manage economic analyses and preparation of benchmarking studies
- Support cross-border financing engagements including thin capitalisation analysis and interest benchmarking
- Draft clear concise and technically robust reports and client deliverables
Client Relationship Management
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients maintaining strong and proactive relationships
- Provide practical commercially focused transfer pricing advice
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear and actionable insights for clients
Business Development
- Support the leadership team in identifying and securing new business opportunities
- Contribute to proposals and the development of client solutions
- Identify opportunities within the existing client base to expand service offerings
Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with colleagues across Tax Audit and Corporate Finance to deliver integrated client solutions
- Train mentor and support the development of junior team members
- Contribute to the development and improvement of internal methodologies and processes
Practice Development
- Support the growth and strategic development of the transfer pricing practice
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK transfer pricing legislation and OECD developments
- Drive continuous improvement in technical capability and service delivery
Experience & qualifications
- Professionally qualified (ACA CA ACCA CTA ADIT or equivalent)
- Demonstrable experience in transfer pricing advisory either in practice or industry
- Strong understanding of UK transfer pricing legislation and OECD guidelines
- Experience in transfer pricing documentation functional analysis and economic benchmarking
- Experience in intercompany financing and thin capitalisation analysis
