About VTM Highway Services

We are looking for a capable and organised CAD Technician to help us prepare clear safe and practical traffic-management drawings for our growing portfolio of work.

The Role

You will work closely with our operations and contracts teams to produce traffic-management plans for planned and short-notice projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Producing and updating traffic-management drawings.

  • Creating layouts for temporary signals lane closures road closures and diversions.

  • Reviewing site information and identifying practical layout requirements.

  • Making amendments following client or operational feedback.

  • Maintaining accurate drawing records and document versions.

  • Supporting the operations team with clear information before works begin.

What Were Looking For

We would like to hear from applicants who:

  • Have experience using AutoCAD or similar design software.

  • Can produce clear and accurate technical drawings.

  • Have experience within traffic management highways utilities or civil engineering.

  • Understand temporary traffic-management layouts and road-safety requirements.

  • Are organised detail-focused and comfortable managing several drawings at once.

  • Communicate well with clients coordinators and operational teams.

Previous experience preparing traffic-management drawings would be highly advantageous. Training may be considered for an experienced CAD Technician moving into the sector.
