Job Summary
Talentmarkare recruiting a Toxicology Technical Specialistto join a forensic testing organisation based in Warrington on a permanent basis. This is a full-time onsite role working Monday to Friday during daytime hours.
In this role you will have overall responsibility for the laboratorys chromatography and mass instrumentation instrument.
Your main duties will be:
Strong practical experience with LC-MS/MS and HS-GC-FID.
Experience in instrument setup maintenance and troubleshooting.
Experience with Waters and SCIEX instrumentation is desirable.
Excellent understanding of drug extraction techniques notably LLE and SPE.
A thorough understanding of immunoassay chromatographic and mass spectrometric techniques (such as ELISA HS-GC-FID and LC-MS/MS and HPLC).
Experience working within an ISO 17025 laboratory environment.
In this role you will have overall responsibility for the laboratorys chromatography and mass instrumentation instrument.

- Manage the day-to-day operation and performance of all equipment and analytical instruments
- Coordinate instrument installation setup commissioning maintenance and servicing
- Provide troubleshooting and technical support for instrument hardware software and analytical issues.
- Manage and support instrument software.
- Monitor instrument performance and coordinate corrective actions when required.
