Telehandler

Lindum Homes is looking for an experienced Telehandler Driver to join them on a full time permanent basis. The role will be working out of our sites all within Lincolnshire

Duties will include:

• Unloading delivery vehicles and distributing materials (bricks blocks timber roof trusses etc) across various plots & across a site.
  
• Assisting sub-contractors and site trades with scheduled and ad-hoc lifts.
  
• Carrying out daily safety pre-checks maintaining plant logs reporting of any defects and ensuring the machine is kept clean and secure.
  
• Working closely with the Site Manager to keep daily tasks on schedule.
  

Stepping off the machine when required for the following duties:

• General site housekeeping
  
• Carrying out daily machine checks
  
• Palletising deliveries & manually organising materials
  
• Maintaining pedestrian walkways inc manual moving of barriers & crossing points
  
• Changing over of forklift attachments (Inc tipper skips sweepers etc) and slings / chains
  
• Refuelling & cleaning of the machine inc tyres to ensure safety checks are carried out properly
  
• Organisation of rubbish in skips to ensure efficient & safe use of the skips
  
• Stock taking of materials across site & in compound
  
• Ensuring materials within the compound are adequately protected from the elements
  
• Ensuring site gates are closed every time after accessing site
  
• Any other site duties as required or deemed necessary by the Site Manager eg. watering of turf & trees erection of heras fencing.
