Salary:
13.35 per hour 36 hours per week Monday-Friday 9 am to 5 pm with a 45 minute lunch break.
Technician Role:
- Flexibly work in different laboratories across both Wokingham and Reading sites as required.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Food Safety Procedures to produce food products at lab scale or manufacturing scale.
- Perform basic routine analysis product manufacturing and sample preparation under senior supervision.
- Use the LIMS (Q-Pulse) system to record information.
- Keep an organised and accurate record of lab work carried out.
- Calibrate lab equipment as required.
- Educated up to A-Level/HNC/BTEC level in a Science.
- Experience of working with food e.g. in a restaurant café or in food production.
- Flexible and adaptable in a workplace enjoying the challenge of adapting to different teams and environments.
- Passionate about Science.
- Passionate about Food.
- Meticulous and organised with strong attention to detail.
- Laboratory experience would be advantageous.
- Self-motivated enthusiastic and a fast learner.
