Technical Expert Ecotoxicologist

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced Technical Expert - Ecotoxicologist to join our dynamic Global Science Delivery team and work within a highly collaborative team of study managers and technical experts. Within the role you will apply your scientific background to provide ecotoxicology data and insights to project teams and support the registration of sustainable crop protection products. You will drive the design delivery and interpretation of critical ecotoxicology studies demonstrating expertise in a range of terrestrial and/or aquatic disciplines partnering with our strategic global Contract Research Organisation (CRO) network to deliver best-in-class technical inputs and timely delivery of critical endpoints. Key responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring the timely delivery of business-critical data generated at CROs to support the development and registration of new active ingredients and existing products globally.
• Being responsible for protocol design evaluation of data and reviewing/authorising company reports.
• Elucidating insights from ecotoxicology data and reporting expert conclusions to technical teams.
• Independently providing technical assistance and innovative solutions to facilitate transfer of technical knowledge.
• Utilising your expert knowledge and understanding of ecotoxicology as well as relevant global regulatory guidance documents and their implication to our study designs.

Qualifications :

What we are looking for

• Minimum BSc in Biology Ecotoxicology Environmental Toxicology or a closely related field.
• Experience conducting ecotoxicology studies under GLP environment.
• Good knowledge of global ecotoxicology data requirements for Plant Protection Products preferably with an understanding of the current regulatory landscape and new guidance/guideline development.
• Experience of generating key insights from data sets.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a diverse team to achieve project goals with strong organisation and time management proficiency.
• Capability of applying analytical thinking to solve problems with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to learn and apply new skills promptly.
• Experience with Biological plant protection products (microbials biostimulants and biocontrols) including qPCR and microbiology methods is highly desirable.
