About the role
As a Team Leader youll play a key role in leading a small team to deliver outstanding person-centred support.
Working closely with the Locality Manager youll provide day-to-day leadership guidance and coaching to Support Workers helping to ensure high standards of support and positive outcomes for the people we support.
Youll lead by example conduct supervisions and observations support colleagues with their development and help create a positive inclusive culture. Youll take responsibility for ensuring key documentation and compliance requirements are completed to a high standard such as monitoring training schedules reviewing support records medication compliance and contributing to audits.
You will also work as part of our on-call team - working 1 weekend in 4 - as part of your contracted hours. Being part of on-call means being flexible to attend other services when required getting to know the wider group of people we support.

What were looking for
- At least 1 years experience working with adults with learning disabilities and/or autism and experience of consistently leading a small team able to demonstrate this on your CV.
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends bank holidays and sleep-ins as part of a rota. Happy to work on-call as part of your contract; working 1 weekend in 4 (or more if you would like) with a topped up hourly rate.
- Experience completing or overseeing care records support documentation and compliance-related paperwork as well as a good understanding of CQC standards and person-centered support.
- Confidence in providing guidance coaching and support to colleagues.
- Strong communication organisational and leadership skills.
- A positive proactive and supportive approach.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
