Team Leader
Job Summary
An exciting internal vacancy has arisen for a permanent Team Supervisor to join our Litigation Preparation Unit in our Leeds city centre office. The successful applicants will be responsible for the supervision and organisation of a recoveries team based in Leeds.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Supervising a team of case handlers.
- Allocation of daily/weekly tasks.
- Dealing with and processing EofDs and complaints.
- Assisting with internal auditing.
- Case supervision.
- Writing/Delivering training for new and existing staff.
- Performance monitoring and driving results to meet Divisional targets.
- Handling a small caseload of very complex recovery cases and assisting with case projects.
- Developing the team to maintain the highest standard of customer care and efficiency to ensure SLAs are achieved
- Assisting with the relationship management of various Insurer Clients
- Ad hoc project work
- Recruitment of staff
- Providing cover for case handlers other supervisors and the group leaders when absent.
Skills/Competencies required:
- Has very strong supervisory and organisational skills
- Has a sound technical knowledge of all aspects of recovery work
- Has an excellent knowledge of the recoveries content within Filestream
- Is a confident communicator with the ability to diffuse difficult situations with staff clients insurers etc via letter telephone and in person.
- Is organised and has the ability to prioritise their own and the teams tasks to be able to meet the team and groups targets.
- Drive and ambition to help the management team drive the department forward.
This is a full time position 35hrs per week Monday -Fridaybetween 9am-6pm.
We operate an agile working model and the successful candidate will work from the office 2 days per week and will work from home the other 3 days of the week. However they would be expected to work from the office full time 5 days a week on occasion to provide training as and when needed. Please note that the agile working policy is subject to change and candidates should be prepared to work 5 days in the office should the need arise.
