Full-Time Team Leader Position Available (Days and Nights)
Harley House Supported Living is seeking a dedicated experienced and compassionate Team Leader to join our team in Colchester.
This is a fast-paced and varied role where no two days are the same. The successful candidate will be proactive adaptable and confident in leading by example while maintaining the highest standards of support and care.
- Lead and support a team of Support Workers to deliver outstanding person-centred support.
- Act as a positive role model promoting best practice and professional standards.
- Ensure care and support plans risk assessments and positive behaviour support strategies are implemented effectively.
- Support the individual with daily living activities community access and meaningful engagement.
- Promote independence choice dignity and inclusion.
- Safely support behaviours that may challenge.
- Monitor review and contribute to support documentation and reporting.
- Assist with staff supervision mentoring induction and ongoing development.
- Support rota management and shift coordination as required.
- Work collaboratively with family members healthcare professionals and external agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and regulatory requirements.

- Have experience supporting people with learning disabilities and complex needs.
- Have experience supporting behaviours that challenge.
- Have previous experience in a senior support worker or team leader role or can demonstrate leadership potential.
- Are confident in leading and motivating others.
- Are physically and emotionally resilient.
- Are kind caring funny positive enthusiastic and highly motivated.
- Can remain calm and confident in challenging situations.
- Have excellent communication organisational and problem-solving skills.
