Job Summary
At Leigh Academy Bexley we have a fantastic opportunity for a driven experienced Teaching Assistant to join our thrive-first highly collaborative inclusion team.
Our staff are genuinely dedicated to delivering a first-class education and we are expanding. With positions available across both our mainstream classrooms and our brand-new bespoke specialist provision we are looking for passionate educators who love working with secondary-aged students and want to help shape their futures.
No two days are the same. Whether you are working 1-to-1 guiding small groups or supporting a whole classroom your presence provides the vital continuity our students need to thrive. Reporting directly to the SENDCO you will deliver targeted interventions that bridge the gap for our learners - ensuring they can access their education fully from both an academic and welfare perspective.
Who You Are
- Patient empathetic and adaptable: You know how to connect with students from all walks of life and adapt to varying needs.
- Experienced (or eager to grow): Experience delivering small-group interventions or working with young people with Autism in a specialist setting is a huge plus - but a passion for making a difference is what truly matters.
