Support Worker

What youll do

Every person we support is different so no two days will be exactly the same.

As a Support Worker youll:

• Support individuals to develop and maintain their independence
• Encourage choice confidence and involvement in everyday decisions
• Support with shopping cooking and household tasks
• Help individuals access activities and opportunities in their local community
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Support with appointments and social activities
• Assist with medication where required
• Provide personal care with dignity and respect where needed
• Work alongside colleagues families and other professionals to provide person-centred support

Above all youll take the time to understand each individual and what a good day looks like for them.
