Job Summary

Support Worker

We are pleased to announce that we have an exciting opportunity here at Potens for a Support worker at our service at Orme House situated in the beautiful North Wales seaside resort of Llandudno on the rise to the Great Orme itself.

What youll be doing:

  • You will be promoting independence and encouraging the people we support to access the community. 1-1 support when required.
  • Orme House is a residential care home for up to 14 individuals who have enduring mental health problems.
  • Working to maintain a high level of support thats required for the service needs.
  • Personal care will be required.
  • Participate and be as enthusiastic about their likes and wants as they are.
  • Please note that this is a temporary position until August 2027 to cover Maternity leave with the option of staying on as bank staff or potentially another service

Who you are:

  • We want individuals with a passion to support others and make a difference in their everyday lives.
  • Flexibleshift patterns can vary to suit the service.
  • You may be required to pick up waking nights/sleeps depending on the needs of the service.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Have a positive attitude and are able to work well under pressure.
  • Driver preferred.
