The Role

As a Support Worker you will:

• Support young people aged 1617 to develop independence skills
• Promote safety wellbeing and positive routines
• Provide emotional and practical support
• Maintain professional boundaries at all times
• Record daily logs incidents and support plans
• Work collaboratively with social workers managers and external agencies
• Uphold safeguarding procedures and report concerns immediately
• Help maintain a safe clean welcoming accommodation environment

This role requires consistency compassion resilience and a genuine commitment to young peoples welfare.

What Were Looking For

Essential

• Experience supporting young people or vulnerable individuals
• Strong safeguarding awareness
• Ability to build positive professional relationships
• Good communication and recording skills
• Reliable consistent and emotionally resilient
• Willingness to work shifts
• Enhanced DBS (childrens workforce) or willingness to obtain one

Desirable

• Experience working with looked after children
• NVQ Level 3 (Children & Young People / Health & Social Care)
• Knowledge of Supported Accommodation Regulations (2023)
• First Aid safeguarding or deescalation training
