WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON

As part of our team youll play a key role indelivering innovative projects in the Space Navigation and Defence closely with senior project leadership youll help drive programmesfrom concept to completion ensuring successful delivery every step of the way. Tasks will include:

Coordinate and manageinternational programme throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Support the definition ofproject structures contractual frameworks and strategic work plans.
Monitor and control keyprogramme metrics including schedules risks deliverables compliancepayments and contractual commitments.
Partner with engineering teamsto ensure technical requirements are effectively translated into projectexecution and to support major technical reviews from design through tovalidation.
Lead the organisation andparticipation of project reviews progress meetings audits and technicalworkshops with customers partners and subcontractors

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM

The ideal candidate will have experience in the followingareas:

We are looking for MSc in Engineering or Scienceswith backgroundand interest in Space or similar projects.

  • Professional experience in project support project coordination PMO activities project administration or project control.
  • Experience supporting projects ideally in international and multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Good understanding of project management fundamentals including planning reporting risk follow-up deliverables tracking and stakeholder coordination.
  • Proven experience on project and/or technical management with experience in Systems/SW Engineering methodologies and standards.
  • Strong management and leadership skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with management customers consortium partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience on Space Ground Control or Navigation projects or similiar

Youll stand out if you bring experience or expertise in any of thefollowing areas:

  • Experience in the space defence or other highly regulated engineering sectors.
  • Experience in international projects.
  • Experience with document management and/or configuration management support.
  • Knowledge of additional languages such as Spanish French or German.
  • Certification in project management methodologies such as PMP PRINCE2 or equivalent will be considered an asset.

This role will require frequent short travelestimatedin average one or two travels per month (1-3 days each). Depending on workplacethis could raise to weekly travel (1-3 days each).

This role requires a UK national with security clearance (SC or above) or the ability to obtain security clearance. Only UK national candidates that can obtain UK security clearance (UK eyes only) can be considered for this role.
