Job Summary

Join a friendly caring team of specialist staff and Student Support Assistants who are passionate about inclusion and helping every student succeed. We pride ourselves on collaboration compassion and exceptional student support ensuring that learners can fully participate in college life and achieve their individual goals.

Our team supports students with a wide range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across the College including within Foundation Learning. Working closely with teaching staff specialist agencies and families we help students overcome barriers to learning and develop the confidence independence and skills needed for adult life.

Foundation Learning provides personalised programmes for students aged 16-22 with Education Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). The curriculum is built around the four Preparing for Adulthood pathways:

Alongside academic and personal development students benefit from a broad enrichment programme including enterprise employability sport arts and independent living experiences.

We are looking for caring proactive and adaptable individuals who are committed to helping young people thrive.

As a Student Support Assistant you will work alongside curriculum staff to provide tailored support that enables students to participate fully in lessons develop independence and make meaningful progress towards their goals.
