Salary: 63-79K (plus up to 15% bonus and private healthcare cover)

ScottishPower Renewables is expanding its Solution & Security Architecture team and is looking for experienced architects to help shape the future of secure sustainable energy. Based in Glasgow with hybrid flexibility this role sits at the intersection of cyber security and critical national infrastructurewhere the impact is real and the work truly matters.

What youll be doing

This is an opportunity to influence how technology is designed deployed and operated from day one. You wont be working on the sidelines; youll play a central role in embedding secure-by-design principles across both IT and OT environments while helping drive a broader cultural shift where security and architecture become shared responsibilities.

Whether your strengths lie in engineering consulting or infrastructure youll have the flexibility to focus on what you do best. From evolving security tooling and capabilities to advising on complex programmes and shaping solution design or building resilient secure infrastructure foundationsyour work will directly support the systems that power renewable energy.

Youll collaborate with delivery teams suppliers and senior stakeholders to design secure solutions influence key decisions and translate regulatory requirements into practical outcomes. This is a role where your judgement communication and ability to drive change will matter just as much as your technical expertise.

What youll bring

Were looking for architects who bring strong experience across solution security or infrastructure domains along with a pragmatic mindset and the confidence to operate across both technical and business environments. Familiarity with frameworks such as NIS CAF ISO or NIST and an understanding of modern threat landscapes will set you up for success.
