Skilled Maintenance Operative

Please note this role requires a DBS check.

We are searching for a Skilled Maintenance Operative to support the team in the day to day presentation & maintenance of our Florence Dock site in Battersea. You will ensure client & colleague safety & comfort at all times alongside delivering excellent customer service.

What will you do

• To ensure works completed are to a high standard & completed within realistic time frame / stipulated time.
• To ensure stock tools & materials are kept to an acceptable level & usable standard.
• To communicate effectively & continuously as reasonably practicable with the facilities manager & other departments as required.
• Inform company of any additional works needed at location.
• Work well independently yet be supportive of team members and goals.
• To leave work clean & tidy upon leaving.
• Be able to make sure any works completed are compliant in line with HSE and water bye-laws.
• Be able to respond effectively to emergency situations.
• To identify & communicate potential areas for future works.
• To complete all paperwork & procedures in set timelines.
• To attend all safety briefings/tool box talks.

What are we looking for

• City and Guilds or equivalent qualification(Essential)
• Experience working in a customer facing role ideally in domestic properties
• Knowledge of planned preventative maintenance.
• Knowledgeable of Health & Safety issues & requirements including COSHH.
• Good understanding of decorating and fabric repair
• Knowledge of basic water system and L8
• Previous use of web based CAFM systems
