You will take charge of the day-to-day management maintenance safety and security of the school site ensuring all buildings and grounds remain clean secure and fully operational. Working closely with the Headteacher Senior Leadership Team and wider staff you will oversee planned and reactive maintenance coordinate contractors and monitor health and safety standards to provide a safe positive environment where pupils can thrive.

• Manage daily site operations and maintenance.

• Keep buildings and grounds safe secure and presentable.

• Coordinate repairs and handle reactive maintenance.

• Manage contractors and monitor on-site work.

• Conduct regular site safety and maintenance inspections.

• Support health safety and statutory compliance.

• Handle site security keys alarms and access.

• Maintain accurate inspection and repair records.

• Support school events and improvement projects.

• Respond promptly to emergencies and urgent issues.

• Previous background in premises site or facilities management caretaking or a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of building maintenance health safety and site security.

• Experience coordinating contractors and external providers.

• Practical repair and general maintenance skills.
