About the candidate

• Have proven experience in building maintenance caretaking trades or facilities
  management.
• Possess a practical working knowledge of health and safety regulations (such as COSHH fire safety and risk assessments).
• Exhibit strong communication skills to coordinate shifts with the assistant caretaker and build positive relationships with external hirers and school staff.
• Show flexibility and commitment to working varied hours including evening and weekend shift patterns to support community bookings and emergency out-of-hours calls.
