About the School:

A school in Swindon is seeking an experienced Site Manager to take responsibility for the daily operation security maintenance and presentation of the school estate.

The successful candidate will be practical organised and confident dealing with contractors staff maintenance requirements and health and safety responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the opening closing and security of the school site.

  • Coordinate daily maintenance and site operations.

  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds.

  • Organise contractors and monitor completed works.

  • Maintain site records and compliance documentation.

  • Support fire safety and emergency procedures.

  • Oversee cleaning grounds maintenance waste and site presentation.

  • Respond to urgent maintenance issues.

  • Manage keys access arrangements and security procedures.

  • Provide regular reports to school leadership.

Requirements:
  • Previous site management premises facilities or caretaking experience.

  • Good knowledge of general building maintenance.

  • Understanding of health and safety procedures.

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.

  • Ability to coordinate contractors.

  • Reliable and proactive approach.

  • Trade or maintenance experience would be advantageous.
